A warm welcome to your local pharmacy.
Our friendly pharmacy team are dedicated to supporting our community's wellbeing and healthcare needs and we aim to provide an accessible, reliable and comprehensive service. We offer a wide range of pharmacy services and everyday over-the-counter essentials to help you and your family maintain good health so that you can enjoy the most important things in life.
Locally-owned and family-run
Originally established in the 1980s as 'Kinmylies Pharmacy' by a local pharmacist and his family, the pharmacy returned to being a locally-owned and family-run independent business in the summer of 2023. Transferring to the ownership of Craig Dorrington, a local Pharmacist Independent Prescriber, together with his young family and experienced team, Livingstone Pharmacy is proud to serve the community of Kinmylies and people living within Inverness and the Highlands.

A few common questions
Is my prescription ready?
If you have a mobile, sign up to our text messaging service and we can let you know when your medicine is ready to collect. If you prefer, you can call us or send us an email and we'll check for you.
How do I order a repeat prescription?
You're welcome to post your reorder form in the Repeat Prescriptions postbox at our front door — please allow enough time for your GP surgery to process the order and for us to dispense your medication. Or, pop in and speak to us at the counter, give us a call on 01463 221 094 or email us at info@livingstonepharmacy.co.uk. If you prefer, you can order online through our prescriptions section above — whichever works best for you. Collection from the pharmacy and free local delivery across IV1 to IV3 are both available.
How do I nominate Livingstone Pharmacy as my preferred pharmacy for my prescriptions?
If you live in Inverness, you just need to let your GP surgery know that you'd like to receive your prescriptions from us going forward — they'll send your prescriptions to us, and we'll take it from there.
I'm visiting the area on holiday — can I still access healthcare and advice?
Yes! Whether you're visiting the area on work or holiday, we'll be happy to see you and help you get back on track so that you can enjoy your time here in the Highlands.
What is Pharmacy First Plus?
Pharmacy First Plus is an NHS Scotland service that lets Prescribing Pharmacists assess, advise on, and, where appropriate, prescribe treatment for a range of common conditions — without the need for a GP appointment. You're welcome to drop in for a consultation, although please be aware that you may need to wait during busy periods.
